Outdoor Activities and Individual Sports is a co-ed class for students who enjoy high energy outdoor activity. This class will place an emphasis on participation in several activities including team building, biking, rock wall climbing, snow tubing, snowshoeing, hiking, canoeing, and other fitness activities. Racket sports will include badminton, tennis (indoor and outdoor) and pickleball. Students will spend time learning the rules and regulations of each activity, practicing the skills to be successful, and working cooperatively. Additionally, students will monitor and improve their fitness levels by participating in the Fitnessgram assessments throughout the semester. Students will conclude the semester with a final written exam.
